PRIZE DRAW Terms & conditions

  1. Prize draws are open to all UK residents aged 18 or over (unless stated otherwise), excluding employees (and immediate families) of Asda, Publicis Blueprint and their affiliated companies, and anyone professionally connected with the prizes.
  2. Proof of sending shall not constitute proof of receipt. No responsibility can be accepted for entries lost, delayed, incompletely received or damaged.
  3. Maximum of one entry per person per prize draw. Bulk or third-entry parties are not accepted.
  4. Calls cost 40p from BT landlines. Text entries cost 35p plus standard operator rates. Phone and text lines open 24 hours every day until midnight of closing date. Ask whoever pays the bill before calling. If you text to enter after the advertised closing date you will not be entered into the prize draw but you will be charged. Enter text codes with care; promoter is not responsible for mistyped codes. Some phone lines operate call-barring, and calls from other networks, payphones and mobiles may be charged at a higher rate. Contact your service provider for more information. If you’re unable to get through to the prize draws, check in the first instance with your network operator, then, for technical issues, call 0845 313 0360 (entries cannot be made on this number).
  5. Winners will be randomly selected by an independent person from all entries after the closing date. Winners will be notified by letter within 28 days of the draw date.
  6. There are no cash alternatives to the prizes, and prizes are not transferable.
  7. By entering the prize draws, you agree to participate in publicity if you win.
  8. Winners’ names and counties may be obtained by sending an sae to: Asda Magazine 2009 Issue Winners List, Asda House, Great Wilson Street, Leeds LS11 5AD, 28 days after the closing date. Please state the giveaway name and the issue it appears in. Please do not send entries to this address.
  9. If winners are unable to take the prizes, a redraw will take place.
  10. The promoter’s decision is final. No correspondence can be entered into.
  11. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the promoter reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value.
  12. Prize draws may be featured in other promotional material with different treatments.

Additional terms and conditions

Prize must be taken between January and April 2010, subject to availability. One person travelling must be over 18. Four nights’ accommodation in Cairo
is on a bed and breakfast basis for
two people sharing a room. Domestic travel, additional expenses, spending money or personal expenses are not included. A credit card will be required
at hotel check-in to act as guarantee
for incidentals and room service.
The winner is responsible for any necessary inoculations. For the
camping night, all camping gear
is included, plus breakfast, lunch,
dinner and mineral water.

The prize of a weekend break consists
of a two-night stay in a Crowne Plaza hotel, based on two adults sharing a standard double/twin room, with up
to two children under 17 years old sharing the room. Also included in
the prize is: up to £400 towards travel expenses, four top-price tickets to
Sister Act at the London Palladium
and the opportunity to visit the backstage area. Availability cannot
be guaranteed on dates requested.
Prize must be taken by 31 November 2009 and cannot be taken over
bank holiday weekends or half-term holidays. Tickets are non-refundable, non-transferable and have no cash value. The prize cannot be used in conjunction with any other Sister Act offer. Any costs incurred additional
