Celebrity hairdresser Andrew Barton makeover

David Wood, 31, is a nurse who lives with his wife and four children in Oxton, near Liverpool. He works nights at Ashton House Hospital and when he gets home at 8am, it’s time for the school run, walking the dog and stealing some rest before picking the kids up in the afternoon. With no time for himself, David’s grooming routine was non-existant, but with a few style tips, Andrew shows this busy dad how to scrub up in no time.

Start by washing face and hair with my All In One Hair & Body Wash – a great two-in-one product that contains soothing menthol.

Trimming the hair instantly makes David look younger and short hair is so easy to style. Simply apply a little Messed Up Paste for texture, brushing back from the face.

Face
Ungroomed facial hair can look scruffy and have an ageing effect – look at the instant lift to David’s face.

Some men hide behind their beards, but this can add weight, so if you’re going to go for facial hair, you need to maintain it and keep it neat, but not contrived.
