A retro summer treat three different ways

Serves 2
Ready in 10 minutes
Price per serving £1.05

1tbsp clear honey
2tbsp Asda Hundreds and Thousands
2 fan ice cream wafers
213g can Asda Peaches in Juice, drained
150g strawberries
4 scoops Asda Neapolitan Ice Cream

  1. Put the honey in a saucer or small dish and the Hundreds and Thousands in another saucer. Dip just the curved tip of each wafer first in honey and then in the Hundreds and Thousands. Set aside.
  2. Divide half the peaches between two long glasses (if you haven’t got sundae dishes, use drinking glasses).
  3. Cut the green ends off the strawberries and slice them with a round bladed knife. Divide half of the strawberries between the glasses, on top of the peaches.
  4. Put a scoop of ice cream
on top. Add a second layer of fruit to each of the glasses, using up the rest of the peaches and strawberries. Top with another scoop of ice cream and stick a wafer in each.
  5. To make a tropical version, go for fruit like mangoes, kiwi fruit and pineapples layered with vanilla ice cream.
  6. Chocolate and banana are another perfect match. Drizzle chocolate sauce over slices of banana and chocolate ice cream.
